Uniform And Equipment
Biddick School expects high standard from all pupils and all pupils must wear our school uniform. Everyone should be neat, clean and correctly dressed for all school activities. Jewellery should not be worn in school. Uniform can be purchased throughout the majority of the summer holidays from the main reception. However, it is advisable to contact the school prior to your visit to ensure availability of stock.
All Years
Girls
- School polo shirt with logo
- School sweatshirt with logo
- Grey or black skirt or dress trousers
- Black shoes (not trainers)
Boys
- School polo shirt with logo

- Grey or black dress trousers
- Black shoes (not trainers)
General
Sweatshirts and polo shirts are bought from School.
- Other sweaters, fashion tops and tracksuit tops should not be worn to school
- Outdoor coats should only be worn on top of sweatshirts
- Polo shirts must be tucked in
- Hats are not part of uniform and should not be worn once inside the school gates
- Only ear studs may be worn, and these must be removed for PE lessons.
Basic Equipment For Lessons
Pupils must carry the following equipment to every lesson:
- A bag or rucksack
- A set of coloured pencils
- Polo shirts must be tucked in
- A pencil (HB)
- A pen and a spare pen
- your planner
- 0.5 litre water bottle
- A pencil sharpener
- A ruler & rubber
Lessons which require additional equipment:
Art And Technology
- 2H, 2B and 3B pencils
- An apron or an old shirt
- A black fine liner pen (0.5mm)
- A white sketch pad (art only)
- N.B. Sensible footwear must be worn.
Maths And Science
- A protractor
- A pair of compasses
- A basic calculator
Modern Foreign Languages
- An English / French dictionary, or English / German dictionary.
PE Clothing
All items of PE clothing are on display at the ‘new intake’ parents evening during the summer term. They can be bought then or alternatively an order can be made.

- White top
- Navy shorts
- White socks
- Navy PE sweatshirt (school)
- Navy jogging bottoms (school)
- Training shoes
Boys
- Plain white T shirt
- Navy shorts
- Navy football socks
- Navy PE sweatshirt (school)
- Navy jogging bottoms (school)
- Training shoes
- Football boots
All items should be clearly labelled with the pupil’s name. Our black school sweatshirts are not appropriate for any PE activity
